Timothy Palmer, Owner of Palmer Skincare and Massage, started his business about two years ago because he wanted to offer skincare and massage services often associate with women to men. “Just as a woman would feel more comfortable getting a bikini wax from another woman, the same principle applies to men, “Palmer said.

A large part of what Palmer does is Male Waxing, to include back and shoulders, eyebrows, ears and nose and the” Male Brazilian”. He can basically wax or groom any area to suit his client’s needs. Men want to feel and be treated and groomed just like women do, “Palmer said and I provide a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for my clients to look and feel their very best.

Palmer Skincare and Massage also offers a wide variety of skincare services, such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, photo facials and classic rejuvenating facials. Palmer can also focus on specialized treatments, such as body scrubs, cellulite treatment and recently added, sunless airbrush tanning.

Palmer is also a licensed Massage Therapist and recently completed the Holistic Health Practitioner Program from Mueller College of Holistic studies. He is now able to offer classic massage techniques and provide holistic treatments that relax, repair and rejuvenate.

Palmer is an outgoing person and enjoys being involved in the local GLBT community, participating every year in the local San Diego AIDS Walk and San Diego LGBT Pride. Palmer also gives his support and business to local gay owned businesses and is heavily involved with San Diego’s The Pride Card, attending events and offering special donations and discounts to its members.

This month, Palmer Skincare and Massage is offering an introductory Back and Shoulder wax for $25 for first time clients who present the Pride Card.
